Synopsis Sairat 2016 Marathi Movie
In interior Maharashtra, a fisherman's son and a local politician's daughter fall in love against the restrictions of caste hierarchy.
My views
This movie is about a boy and a girl who falls in love - a boy is from one caste(low) and a girl from another caste(upper). Problem rises between them because the fusion of different castes is not allowed in India. What exactly caste is? It is nothing but forge way of dividing a population into a "caste". The binding of different castes as I said is not allowed and it is the religion that supports this notion.
To the people who have no idea of how caste system works - be it people who live in India or live outside of India have to remember this only - It is this - Caste System works in two forms – In its preserving form, it makes intermarriage i.e. marriage to a person belonging to a tribe or group other than your own as required by custom or law and when caste switches to its religious form, it makes unapproachable prevailing in modern times. Movie does have amazing song with meaningful lyrics..
Rest, the film will do the talking!

Synopsis Shala 2011 Marathi Movie
Set in the 70's in rural India, four 9th grade kids were writing their destiny. Joshi is madly in love with Shirodkar a beautiful Indian looking girl. Both study in the same class. The age old question "What is love anyway?"
My views
The movie name can be misleading. It's not about the school but the movie takes you to next level i.e. your friend are important part of your life and you step onto the threshold of the adult world and start making sense of it. The movie brings out reality of first love at tender age. This is a very beautiful movie of love between two school mates Joshi & Shirodkar falling in love who are classmates in the same school in a suburban of Maharastra. Joshi expresses his feeling to Shirodkar which in itself is very blissful to watch. His love understands his feeling for her, however she is little reluctant in accepting probably because she realizes the level of Immaturity of getting into love at this age. No wonder that women have very high level of maturity compared to men, however it is also very true if a woman feels deep for someone special, she will go beyond the boundaries to be with her love. This film is having everything "Drama", "Emotions", "Love", "Friendship". The cinematography and music are brilliant. After watching this movie, you would want to go back in your past and have those school fun.

Synopsis Chi Va Chi Sau Ka 2017 Marathi Movie
Savitri, a vet and Satyaprakash, an electrical engineer are forced into marriage by their parents.
My views
Savitri, a veterinary doctor and a staunch vegen and Satyaprakash, an electrical engineer and an obsessed water conservationist are forced to marry each other by their parents. However, Savitri and Satyaprakash are apprehensive about the same and unanimously take a decision, which leads to chaos among their families. The characters of Satya and Savi are interesting enough and the audience can readily identify with them, although they are not without contradictions. For example, how can a person concentrating on saving energy have only air conditioners in his house instead of fans? Still, the characters are amusing, and we don’t need a realistic explanation for everything. Still, one feels the script should have concentrated more on exploring the actual relationship graph instead of being happy with quirky character traits like it does. The film is not without it’s moments. It is reasonably amusing for most part, and there are some LOL moments as well.

Sonal was trying to get a job and come to Ram's office without knowing that she'll be interviewed by Ram himself. Eventually Sonal gets a job as ram's associate. Sonal develops feelings for Ram. but Ram, the man with values, still hopes that his wife will return. If you are emotional persona and likes Rom-com go for this movie.

Anurag wonders about his first love Tanvi, whom he hasn't seen in years. Will their love be rekindled when they reconnect after a long time apart? With so much water under the bridge, he is not sure how things will turn out. Although the story has your usual rom-com feel with some serious nostalgia thrown in, it is wise to remember that the narrator is the older Anya, and that gives the story a new dimension, rarely explored in romantic comedies in general and Marathi films in particular.

A mischievous teen wants to teach a lesson to a man by making his daughter his girlfriend.
My views
An outstanding movie from the Director of 'Natarang' and 'Balak Palak'. TP is a story of mischievous poor teen who decided to teach lesson to a man by hitting on his daughter and woo her with the support of his friends. While still trying to understand whether this is a pastime or love, boy and girl fall head over heels for each other. This is highlighted in a scene in a library, where boy and girl try to convey their feelings silently to each other by picking up the right book titles, thus delivering the best scene in the movie. Set in Thane , western India in the mid 80's when cultural and class differences were most famed, and love relationships were still forbidden, TP is a story that is closer to your heart, especially if you have lived your childhood in Mumbai, Thane and surrounding areas.

Synopsis Mumbai Pune Mumbai 2010 Marathi Movie
A girl from Mumbai who comes to Pune to meet a prospective groom, with the idea of rejecting him, ends up spending the day with a complete stranger.
My views
"Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai" is good light hearten rom-com movie and interesting part is that it has only two characters seen in the poster and movie takes place in few hours of the day without any flashback. Beautiful effort by director Satish Rajwade, mind blowing dialogues, beautiful music and superb acting by Mukta and Swapnil, a must watch love story. I particularly enjoyed the chemistry of lead pair. Witty dialogues and fresh humor. If you are from or visited Mumbai or Pune you are definitely going to love this movie. The story is winsome and doesn't let you lose the pluck of it throughout. Nevertheless it is the darling movie for Marathi movie lovers :)
